After completing the Consultation, InBody Body Composition testing and movement assessment we have all the information we need to design the perfect fitness program for you. The program is carefully designed from scratch, not templated or adjusted from a one-size-fits-all program, which is what that you will get at most gyms. We use the latest developments in the understanding of concurrent training methods to build a program designed specifically for you that will help you be successful for years to come.
Concurrent training is the ability to develop muscle, strength and your work capacity all at the same time. There are plenty of gyms out there that can do a good job improving JUST strength or JUST cardio. But within the OPEX model, with our experienced coaches, improving both with concurrent training principals IS possible. It is possible because we made the effort to fully understand where you are and design the program to get you where you want to go.
WHAT FACTORS GO INTO THE DESIGN?
- YOUR GOALS: Your consultation will have revealed what you want to get out of your fitness, whether it is to look and feel awesome or compete in a sporting event. We have clients who are athletes and clients whose goal is to improve their overall health and function. Your goals are the starting point for your design.
- YOUR CURRENT FITNESS: We meet you at your current fitness level. Movement towards your goals will come when we apply appropriate physical challenges relative to your current abilities. We know that programming just the right dose of challenge will provide a stimulus and ALSO allow you to recover and do it all over again the next day or week.
- YOUR LIFE: Lastly – and most importantly – we design the program around your life. Your Coach will work with you to ensure that the program is scheduled for days that you can definitely get to the gym. Because the program is designed for you, we can create the perfect schedule so there will be less friction because of a busy schedule. Travel, shifting work schedules, family obligations, and other commitments are all manageable when you have your own coach designing your unique program just for you.
The fitness industry is overrun by quick-fix programs and fads, and it is possible to experience progress with one of these programs for a limited amount of time, especially if you are coming from a starting point of not consistently exercising. The problem is that none of these programs allow for the fact that as we grow in fitness our body adapts and it requires new challenges to continue to progress.
